About Cronje de Wit

Founder of CDW GolfStrong

Cronje de Wit is the founder and head trainer at CDW GolfStrong, a specialized golf performance and recovery facility based in Pretoria. With a love for the game that began in 1996, Cronje has played off a low single-figure handicap for more than 25 years, bringing both deep technical insight and real-world golfing experience to his coaching.

As a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf Level 2 Certified Trainer and Stack Speed Training Coach, Cronje combines the science of human movement with golf biomechanics to help players unlock their full physical potential. He works with golfers of all levels, from committed amateurs to professionals like Tristen Strydom, tailoring each program to individual needs, limitations, and goals.

Cronje has also trained in Rotex Motion mobility techniques and incorporates ELDOA-inspired exercises for spinal health and posture correction — particularly valuable for golfers dealing with chronic stiffness, pain, or injuries. His approach blends performance enhancement with long-term physical sustainability.

Having personally overcome five surgeries, including a spinal fusion, Cronje understands the challenges of pain, recovery, and adaptation. His own journey has made him passionate about helping others train smart, stay mobile, and build strength from the ground up — without sacrificing the joy of the game.
